KGB Defector Yuri Bezmenov's Warning to America in 1984

In 1984, a
KGB (Russian: Комитет государственной безопасности)(English: Committee for State Security)
defector from the
Soviet Union Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR)
named Yuri Bezmenov, after having defected to the United States in order to escape from the very communism that he had actively helped to put into place, gave a chilling warning to Americans about certain psychological tactics that were being employed by our enemies and actively being used against us.

Not only were such tactics being used, but they had been being used for a great deal of time prior to this interview; years, perhaps even decades prior to the interview. He pointed out that these tactics were not tactics that would produce results very quickly because in order to "demoralize" a nation, that process takes at minimum 15 to 20 years, which is the amount of time that is required to hijack the minds of an entire generation of soft-minded youth college students and subtly brainwash them so they would effectively have no moral values.

According to Yuri, Soviet masterminds determined that it takes 15 to 20 years to accomplish this first stage of implementing a Marxist (or) Leninist (or) Communist ideology.  Keep in mind that these terms are interchangeable terms for one another and essentially mean the same thing, as it was Karl Marx who designed, or perhaps a better term would be that Marx "fathered", Communism and all of its impossible fantasies which it is based upon.

Yuri said that to begin actually putting Communism into practice, the demoralization of a nation is the first step and the most difficult to achieve as it takes the longest amount of time, but a Communism requires a population devoid of morals in order to continue the process and move to the next step required to successfully implement this type of a society. In reality, implementing communism doesn't create any kind of positive change in society however, in reality it completely destroys the living conditions for everyone in such a situation, and ushers in extreme poverty and widespread suffering following the changes that are implemented as a result, and complete totalitarian rule over everyone and everything in that nation is passed to a single dictator who will now control everything in that nation according to his own will.

As Yuri points out in his 1984 on-camera interview, the U.S. was actually already to that point, and even over-demoralized by that time. That fact was beyond the wildest expectations of the masterminds behind this attack on the United States and our population; and it was something that shocked all of the people involved in waging this new and covert, and wickedly sinister, and evil war against us. They found a weak link and very little to absolutely no resistance in attacking, and they were simply allowed to wage that war with impunity and without notable consequence for many years. With the help of college professors who believed in Marxism and Communism and who had been strategically positioned in, or recruited from their current positions for this purpose, now located throughout universities everywhere, this was a prerequisite for the communist takeover, and one prerequisite that had long since been achieved and was wildly successful by the time Yuri disclosed this information to his interviewer.

Once the demoralization of the population has been achieved, the next phase is to destabilize the nation. This takes between 2 to 5 years to complete.

Great Brainwashing Process Divided into Four Basic Stages:
  • Stage 1: Demoralization (15 to 20 Years)
  • Stage 2: Destabilization (2 to 5 Years)
  • Stage 3: Crisis (Up to 6 Weeks)
  • Stage 4: Normalization (Indefinitely)
